Quantum Information Processing
Dr. Travis Humble is a quantum information scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) within the Center for Engineering Science Advanced Research and the Complex Systems Group, both of which are components of the Computer Science and Mathematics Division (CSMD) in the lab's Computing and Computational Sciences Directorate (CCSD). His research focuses on the theoretical and experimental aspects of quantum information science, including quantum computation and communication, and quantum control theory.

He received his PhD at University of Oregon, Eugene, OR, where he worked with Prof. Jeff Cina, and his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, NC.
