Student Reception: "Engineering Careers for the Next Generation"

Congrats, Your First Professional Degree. What Next?

A professional and social event for networking and professional development, targeted to students, especially graduating seniors. Members of both the IEEE and INCOSE student chapters will meet and network with practicing engineers, to provide a resource on what to do and expect once they get their first professional degree.

First fifty students will entered into a raffle for door prizes.

Food and Refreshments will be provided.

All are invited, especially students, seniors, recent graduates and Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD). Registration link provided below.

  • 3.00pm - 3.30pm: "Meet and Greet"
  • 3.30pm - 5.30pm: Keynote speaker followed by an open Q&A forum.
    • Keynote speaker - Chris Ferreri, Managing Director at ICAP
    • Q&A forum will be moderated by Prof. Rashmi Jain, SIT and will comprise of industry experts representing graduates from different years, in different stages of their careers. Panelists for Q&A include: Kate Duncan, SIT BE ’98, NJIT PhD ’08; William Andrews, Former COO UBS, and Partner, Accenture; Others TBD
  • 5.30pm – 6.00pm: Graduating IEEE student members to be recognized for their accomplishments
  • 6.00pm – 6.30pm: IEEE GOLD/INCOSE brief overview of their activities
  • 6.30pm - 7.00pm: Networking
