Hardcore Computers: Liquid Cooled PCs for gaming to datacenter
Registration is required only for remote viewing of this presentation. Viewing information will be emailed after close of registration (Monday 9-Nov at noon CST).
Chad will be providing background on his company, Hardcore Computer and its development efforts. Hardcore Computer is an innovation company that has developed and patented liquid submersion electronics cooling technology. The main focus of his presentation will be to describe how liquid submersion cooling works and discuss the benefits of liquid submersion cooling for the electronics industry.
Reactor™, the company’s first product offering, is a performance PC launched November of last year. It was the first commercial liquid submersion-cooled desktop PC. Chad will talk about the technology in this product; as well discuss upcoming product release plans, including plans to introduce liquid-submerged server and high-performance blade technology into the datacenter market.
Liquid Blade™ technology has tremendous potential benefit to the datacenter market, where power efficiency, component density and carbon footprint are all becoming increasingly important. Chad will talk about why submersion cooling is the best way to address these concerns, as well as a variety of other problems facing the industry.
There will be a demonstration of a Reactor™ submersion-cooled PC available for hands-on experience after the talk. Chad also will be available for questions and discussion.
