Topic: Soccer City Stadium: Recipe for a "Cultural Melting Pot"
Biography: Mr Bob van Bebber holds a B.Arch from the University of Witwatersrand and is a Director of Boogertman & Partners, one of the largest firms of architects in the country. He is responsible for design development and implementation at the Johannesburg office. Prior to joining Boogertman + Partners Architects in 1998, he was with Henk Mantel & Associates and Louis Peens Architects. His architectural skills and experience include corporate head office buildings, offices and office parks, retail, wholesale en value centres, industrial parks and buildings, casinos, hotels and holiday resorts, and educational buildings and residential. Some of his notable projects include: MTN Innovation Centre Phases 1 & 2, Emperors Palace Hotel and Casino, Gaborone International Convention Centre, DTI Campus Development, and the 2010 Soccer City Stadium. Mr van Bebber is member of the South African Council for the Architectural Profession and the Institute for South African Architects.

Hy is verantwoordelik vir die ontwerpsproses en uitvoering in die Johannesburg kantoor. Voor mnr. Bebber aangesluit het by Boogertman & Vennote in 1998, was hy by Henk Mantel & Vennote en Louis Peens Argitekte. Sy argiteksvaardighede en –ervaring sluit korporatiewe hoofkantoorgeboue, kantore, casinos, hotelle en vakansieoorde, opvoedkundige geboue en residensiële wonings in. Sy belangrikste projekte sluit die volgende in: die MTN Innovasiesentrum Fases 1 & 2, Emperors Palace Hotel en Casino, Gaborone Internasionale konferensiesentrum, DTI Kampus ontwikkeling, en die 2010 Soccer City Stadion. Mnr van Bebber is lid van die Suid-Afrikaanse Raad vir die Argitektuurprofessie en die Instituut vir Suid-Afrikaanse Argitekte.
