Informational Meeting for Members Interested in Volunteering or Serving as Officers
Do you know what it means to serve as a volunteer with IEEE? Find out at our Informational Meeting for those members who want to get more information about volunteering or serving as an officer. We will have short presentations, followed by a panel discuss where members will have the opportunity to ask questions and get the first-hand account of serving from experienced volunteers who are current and former Section and Chapter officers. All members are welcome (Section officers must be full members, graduate member grade or above. Student members, affiliate members, and associate members are not eligible. Chapter officers must be full members, graduate members, or affiliate members or above in the particular Chapter society).
Registration is need for food count. Registration EXTENDED TO September 11, 2009, 6pm. Registration is closed, but if you want to risk not eating, you may attend.

This presentation will introduce members to the duties of volunteers, including Section and Chapter offices. A panel discuss will be included, where members will have a chance to ask questions of experienced volunteers. Biography: Mark is the Senior Past Section Chair of the Southeastern Michigan Section, and currently serves as the East Area Support Chair for Region 4.
