Biography:

Chris Doerfler is a native North Carolinian, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill alumnus, father of two young children and founder of 3DFS Software-Defined Electricity.

Chris began his entrepreneurial journey building online home sharing and non-profit fundraising platform startups while growing a business as a FINRA registered representative building securities portfolios for individuals and small businesses.

In the late ‘00’s Chris and a partner began a CNC laser production company which evolved into a partnership with an affiliated engineering group and an eventual home in delivering disruptive energy technology to the market where he has been since.

Today, Chris’ main focus at 3DFS is introducing Software-Defined Electricity, an innovative new energy technology that blends real time computing, power electronics, internet technology and artificial intelligence to deliver perfect electrical efficiency to power networks regardless of the load profile.
