Centre for IT-enabled Transformation (CITT) and IEEE NSW Computer Society Joint Seminar- June 2018
Unhealthy alcohol use is one of the major causes of preventable morbidity, mortality and associated behavioral risks worldwide. It has been challenging for healthcare organisations to provide high-quality services with a limited budget. Is there any digital solution for this challenge? Mobile health interventions provides a cost-effective means for consumer self-control of unhealthy alcohol use anywhere anytime. This presentation will present a systematic literature study that reports the research evidence about the components of these interventions and the health outcomes they have achieved.
