You are charged with engineering a way to support your customer's critical  power load.  No problem, right?  There was a time, only a few years ago, when the customer had limited options for battery systems.  Today there are a number of options for  UPS DC energy.  The speaker will review various battery types, with a focus on Lithium Ion.   Join us at The Italian Athletic Club, on Washington Square in San Francisco for an evening of DC Energy System Tech Talk.  Our September meeting offers a great opportunity to network with your IEEE friends, share a fantastic meal, and perhaps enjoy a frosty beverage on the balcony overlooking Washington Square.  Our new venue is a great place for an IEEE meeting.  We hope you will join us for this presentation.
