*** THIS WILL BE A JOINT ALABAMA SECTION/COMSOC WEBEX MEETING  ***

 For the September meeting, the Alabama Section has invited Dave Cisco Alabama Historical Radio Society, to present on the history of Birmingham Radio.  This will be a discussion on how APCO was instrumental in setting up the first commercial Birmingham Radio station and influential in helping Birmingham grow. There is a book series “History of Birmingham” for sale at CVS. “History of Birmingham Radio” is one of the many books on CVS book stand.  This virtual event will be held on Monday, September 14th, 2020.  All attendees are requested to register for the virtual meeting on vTools.  Please email RoyBrown@southernco.com after attending the event if you want a PDH certificate.

Dave is a member of the Ham Radio Club and Antique Radio Club, which meets at 8th Avenue South and 18th Street.  Dave teaches radio classes at the Radio club bldg..
