Rene Vivanco

Rene Vivanco of United Technologies

Biography: Rene Vivanco (M’07) was born in Mexico, DF. He received the B. Eng degree in electronic engineering from the University of Americas, Puebla, Mexico in 1996, the MBA degree in Marketing Services from University of Americas, Puebla Mexico in 2000 and M Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Walden University, Minneapolis, MN, USA in 2008.

He held different positions at Motorola Automotive (now Continental Automotive) in the areas of Power Train and Hybrid Electric Vehicles from 2000 to 2008.

He has worked for Panasonic Automotive, Exide Technologies and currently he works for United Technologies as Embedded Control Architect in the area of Building Automation.
His areas of interest are Power Electronics, Motor Control, Model Base Design and Embedded Systems.
