Breaking Barriers in Manufacturing with Low Cost 3D Printing

In the last few years the lowering cost and increasing availability of 3D printing technologies has given companies the leverage of faster prototyping and unique manufacturing capabilities. This is allowing companies to save time and money, strengthen market position, and enter new markets. We will discuss the landscape overview of 3D printing technologies for business, how 3D printing is changing business practices, and challenges faced during these transitional times.

Matthew earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Nebraska in Manufacturing Engineering and Biomechanics. He spent six years with the Neuroscience Laboratory at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston Texas as a Biomedical Engineer. Matthew's dedicated interest in research and development for 3D printing is breaking new ground in science and in industries from bronze casting to prosthetics.
