Patents 101: Hot Topics for Patenting Your Invention

Please join us for a discussion on the various forms of IP (intellectual property), when to pursue patent protection,  understanding what is patentable subject matter, how to best prepare for patenting your invention, as well as some of the pitfalls faced by inventors/applicants when seeking to patent your invention.  We hope to have an informal FAQ afterwards to discuss general questions you may have about protecting your invention.

Also take advantage of this opportunity to find out how “RIC Centre: Entrepreneur and Innovation Support” can help you to start a successful business of your own. A representative will be there to introduce the organization’s programs and services.

** Please note that this event is free of charge. However, attendees are required to register using the registration link provided by February 25th due to limited number of seats.
