Topic:

Selecting Correctly Jacketed Cable For The Project

We’ll discuss the different cable codes as listed by N.E.C. National Electric Code and how to apply the appropriate product to project. Samples of the cable styles for Plenum, OSP and Riser applications will be available for an on hands demonstration. These product groups will include Power, Low Voltage and Fiber optics. Additional information will be presented on the growing need to use product that was originally designed for use indoors within a controlled environment now be used outdoors for D.A.S., Micro Cell, and Wireless application and beyond. These have been fast growing project designs where in many cases the demand has outpaced the product design availability. Discussion will be focused on the applications that drive the transition and some of the product solutions that are being created.
