Engineering and Public Policy - A Career Perspective

Many engineers consider public policy a peripheral concern in their careers.  The Internet and the rapid adoption of new technology has placed the need for a common understanding between the engineering and policy communities in the forefront. In this presentation, the speaker will trace his engineering career over 50 years in the context of public policy.  He will also outline some of the issues and opportunities that today’s engineers might consider for their own career path.
