Biography:

Michelle Murphy is a small business owner and inventor of a cost-saving method for determining the arc flash hazard for commercial and industrial electrical equipment. 
 
She also spent over 10 years of experience in the Engineering, Procurement and Construction industry including both commercial and government contracts. Commercial contracts includes power plants, an upstream oil & gas (LNG) project and a major midstream oil & gas terminal. Industry experience includes Power, Nuclear, Nuclear Waste Treatment, Chemical Demilitarization and Oil & Gas. Government customers include the Department of Energy, Department of Defense and the Tennessee Valley Authority.
 
Michelle frequently presents on new nuclear technologies, such as cold fusion and molten salt reactors and also plasma based technologies.  Her presentation is entitled: Cold Fusion vs Thorium Molten Salt Reactors as alternatives to Conventional Nuclear Power Plants.
 
Michelle is a Virginia Tech graduate in electrical engineering and has lived here in Houston since 2012
