Abstract:

As the new IOT market matures, traditional IT management is stretched to new limits.  In this session we will review HPE’s perspective on the IOT market, review specific usecase and solutions with HPE involvement, and demonstrate how traditional IT management practices and tools are applied to meet growing IOT demands.

Mark Bodman


IT4IT Strategist

Biography:

Mark is an IT4IT strategist with Enterprise Architecture background driving IT4IT adoption for Hewlett Packard Enterprise, assisting customers and partners to adopt the new standard as well. Mark helps to shape HPE cross-portfolio products and strategies, and solutions to provide greater value to customers.

Mark’s hands-on experience within IT and as an IT vendor gives Mark a unique perspective on the business of IT, notably how to implement best practice and automate IT processes from planning though operations. Mark is also well versed in a broad range of standards and practices such as TOGAF, COBIT, Archimate, SAFe, and ITIL. 

While at Dell Mark was the lead architect on Dell Preferred Account, Business Credit.  He also implemented application portfolio management practices, evolved EA practices, and chaired technical standards governance boards.  He was a product manager and practice director while at Troux, helping Troux retain the #1 Gartner MQ position.
