Our monthly networking event is held the second Tuesday of every month.  This is a great chance to meet your fellow IEEE members in a relaxed atmosphere out of the office.  Members and non-members are welcome.

The event will be at the Red Stag (www.redstag.ca) in the event room upstairs.  The dress code is casual, jeans and a collared shirt minmum.

Registration

Registration is $5 for IEEE Members and $10 for non-members.

By adding this fee we are including free refreshments of all soda and a variety of appetizers, and a drink ticket.

What you should know about Professional Misconduct Investigations

Biography:

As an experienced regulatory and workplace investigator, Sarah has provided case management and investigation services for professional regulators, various levels of government, and private and public corporations. Sarah has a wide range of investigative experience, having addressed allegations of harassment, discrimination based on a prohibited ground, conflicts of interest, professional misconduct, sexual abuse, fraud, incapacity, and illegal practice.

In addition, Sarah helps her clients meet their legislated obligations for resolving complaints by ensuring timely and appropriate complaint dispositions and drafting committee decisions to withstand third party scrutiny and appeals. Sarah has earned a reputation for preparing clear, concise, and objective reports that help clients understand the significance and strength of the evidence gathered to make informed decisions and defendable actions. Sarah has spoken at industry conferences and provided in-house educational sessions on conducting successful investigations and effective interviewing. Sarah holds both Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Arts degrees in Sociology from Carleton University in Ottawa.
