Share

Please plan to attend this meeting of the Industry Applications Society. The speaker will be Brian Pumphrey, Application Engineering Manager at Cummins Sales and Service.

The ATS is an integral part of an Emergency Power System.  This presentation will cover the different types of ATS along with some important design considerations, including open and closed transition switching.  There will also be a discussion on how the proper grounding and bonding scheme is critical for system functionality.  Finally, we will take a look at how the selection of transfer switches and their requirements for protection are influenced by new UL rules for ATS protection.
